Brooke Angelo, a.k.a. Box Johnson, is a Native American visionary artist from upstate New York working primarily with acrylic paint. She explores themes of psychedelia using color, symmetry and illusion. Brooke gathers inspiration from nature, sociopolitical events and visions gifted to her from the spiritual realm. Brooke views her work as a bridge between the world we live in and the infinite one we often forget exists. The alias, “Box” serves as a portal to the whimsical world from where her art emerges.
